3rd GRADE TEACHER
I graduated from High School in 2013 from North Lamar. I am a proud panther and was excited to come back to my roots to start teaching. After high school, I went to Texas A&M in College Station, where I graduated with my Bachelor’s in 2017 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Gig ‘Em!
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and am currently working on my Masters degree. In December, I will graduate with my Masters in Educational Administration. I am certified all subjects K-6 and ESL certified. I also specialized in reading.
I started teaching at Aaron Parker in the 2018-2019 school year. I started teaching here as a first year teacher and have continued to grow and love it here. This will be my third year teaching third grade reading and social studies. My favorite part about teaching reading is when my kiddos didnt know they would enjoy reading until they find that one book. Fostering a love for reading and learning is why I am here.
While I don’t have any children of my own, I consider all of my students like my kids. I am also so lucky to have one very spoiled furbaby named Anne. She is a goldendoodle and just turned one in July!
When I am not teaching, you can find me doing something relaxing! I love to travel and take trips with my friends. This summer, my friends and I went on a short trip to Florida and it was just what I needed before coming back to school. I like to try new food and explore new places. I especially love being with friends and family!
