I graduated from Hutto High School in Hutto, TX in 2017. After graduation, I decided to continue my education at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, TX. I graduated from ETBU in May of 2021 with my Bachelor degree in All-Level Music Education with a focus in vocal studies.

I started teaching in North Lamar in the 2021-2022 school year. I currently teach the elementary music classes at both Aaron Parker Elementary School and Cecil Everett Elementary School.
North Lamar is the first school that I have taught at, and I am glad to be going into my third year! Teaching and experiencing music with the students is an amazing and fun time that I hope everyone enjoys as much as I do!
During college, I was a part of a few different ensembles and competitions that have given me a view on music from both instrumental and vocal practices. These included marching band, brass ensembles, and choirs. During my time in marching band, I was the section leader for the trumpet section for two years. This gave me the experience of guiding and leading new instrumentalists in the program. In the Spring of 2019, I placed 3rd in the DFW NATS competion for 2nd year college voice students. The following year, I placed 1st in the 2020 DFW NATS competition in 3rd year college voice students.
I have one dog name Maesi! She is hyper and loves to be outside playing with our neighbor dogs.
When I am not teaching, I spend time with family, friends, and my dog!
